The book was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writer’s pick, a best fiction finalist for the Goodreads Choice Award and was named one of the best books of 2016 by People, the Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, NPR, Amazon, Refinery 29 and others. The Nest has been translated into more than 27 languages and optioned for film by Amazon Studios.
Sweeney holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and sons.
